2. Conformance standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate headings, landmarks, and labels
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Keyboard navigability for interactive elements
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Responsive design that supports zoom and text resizing without loss of content or function
- Ongoing review of new pages and features for accessibility issues
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include third-party embedded content (such as fonts and icon libraries) that we do not fully control. We are actively working to address any issues identified through testing or user feedback.
5. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the FireProof UK website and application. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know the page or feature affected, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if applicable.
